I just realized it’s been 17 days since I’ve made a post on here. I’ve also had to pause whole 30 due to unforeseen life events that have left me wanting comfort food. So, enjoy my first photo of 2019.

Instagram posting is hard. I have a love, but primarily hate-relationship with social media. I think I’ve always hated the vulnerability of it. Or this idea l that I feel like I have to “small talk” to people I don’t even know and can’t see. With 2019 approaching and with me making all my lists of goals for the year, I’ve decided social media will not have a place in my goal list. I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy posting on this app. I might do it more, but finding enjoyment from it? ...I can’t see that being reality. So to those of you who’ve followed along on my photography journey even through my weird stories and inconsistent posts- thank you! You can look forward to seeing much of that in 2019.

YOU GUYS. I feel like a million bucks bc I actually UPDATED MY WEBSITE!!! This has been a goal since July and I’ve been a tad bit busy so it finally got done today. Check it out to see some recent work! I also cleaned our bathroom, washed our sheets, did like 5 more loads of laundry, and got dinner in the crockpot all before my shoot tonight. So yeah- I’m pretty much on top of the world. Huge thanks to @jared_gio for spending his day working with me on my website. You’re the bomb and I love you. 🎉🙌🏼

This couple right here is so special to us...this week they started premarital counseling at our church and we are so excited to walk alongside them. Genesis 1-3 is vital for all seasons of married life. We may just learn a thing or two ourselves!
